Before he went on a global tour, I had the honor of hosting a hometown show for Ghostly artists Shigeto and Dabrye in Ann Arbor (top flyer). Needless to say, they were killing it that night. Over the years, we’ve developed a close friendship with Ghostly International and I cannot overstate how amazing those guys are. Instead of focusing on individual artists and egos, Ghostly treats the entire label as a cohesive work of art. Ever evolving without compromising on quality, Ghostly has grown from a niche music label into “a tightly knit aesthetic universe fulfilling the roles of art gallery, design house, clothing designer, technology innovator, music-publishing company, record label.” On top of that, they have one of the sweetest logos every made.
